Why is the "if" condition dose not entered

Hi I have this problem and I really can't solve it can anyone help please

it's about the if conditionHers is pic of my code

     if(Server_Reply.equalsIgnoreCase(first))
         first = Server_Reply;
     else 
         second = Server_Reply;

the code dose not enter to the if condition which is the condition is true can anyone help and thanks
