C++ repetition statement

I am trying to output the number of dozens and excess eggs for an assignment but i need it to only show just dozens if there are no excess eggs and just excess eggs if there are no dozens. My question is how do I use if statements to format that? In my output it shows 0 dozen or 0 excess but I don't want that. Thanks.
