Excel: Having 3 values in a range of cells High, Medium, Poor. How to change them into integers like 1,2,3 as placeholder?

In Cell F2 i would like to replace the High to 3 and underneath the Poor to 1 but there can also be a Medium. Is there a special formula to handle this or do I have to use a double IF statement?
