Syntax for action in Run Keyword If in Robot Framework

How do I write this?

Run Keyword If '${mylist}'==${EMPTY}  ${mylist} ??? Evaluate [[1,2],[a,b]]

I have tried all combinations of equal signs and spaces I could imagine instead of the ??? but they all fail with similar error message No keyword with name ' =' found.
