Java: If Else Statement with 12 Hour Format as a Condition

We were asked to do an If Else statement with a specific Time range.

If(Time>=8AM && Time<5PM)
  Display Statement
Else If(Time>9PM)
  Display Statement
Else
  Display Statement

I can't figure out a way to execute it because of the AM/PM. Please help.
