turning 3 binaire columns into category variable R STUDIO

I would love to know how i could turn this into a category variable , i tried with an if/else statement . however, I get this the condition has length > 1 and only the first element will be used

what i have : x y z 1 0 1 0 0 1 1 0 0 1 0 1 0 1 1

what i want

x y z outcome 1 0 1 C1 0 0 1 C2 1 0 0 C3 1 0 1 c1 0 0 1 C2

i hope this problem is clear, as I'm already trying for a bit now and all the other problems that are on StackOverflow solutions only have 1-2 variables
