How i can compare string if it has both quotation marks and apostrophes?

I want to check in my x.html file if value of string string has specific text - this text is

aaaa"'b' and 'c'"aaaa

So it has both, quotation marks and apostrophe. In this case when i do this

    do something

this is not working. How i can cope with that?
