Hello everyone I need help completing a school assignment.

The part im having trouble doing is knowing what method to use to compare if users number matches the winning number with the box type. Meaning how can I create a method that matches 546 to 645 or 546, etc. and also for the duplicate digit method. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys!
