IF ELSE IN jasper reporting

I'm trying to create if else condition in jasper. But I'm keep getting compiler errors. What is wrong with my condition?

IF($F{policyStatus}.getValue().EQUALS("IN-FORCE") || $F{policyStatus}.getValue().EQUALS("INFORCE")?"Active" : "Lapsed")
