PHP, Mysql and Date check weekdays

I wanted to ask how to do it. On Mysql im have row: Monday = 1 Tuesday = 1 Wednesday = 1 Thursday = 1 Friday = 1 Saturday = 0 Sunday = 0

I want to example is Monday = 1 (and checks whether today is Monday), show something, if not Monday will not show anything.
How to code this?
