power-shell if statement assistance

My scripting knowledge is zero. I am working with a power shell script and need help.

sys.fn_hadr_is_primary_replica ('test01')

returns a 1 for true or 0 for false. When this returns a zero I need it to execute.

alter availability group TEST01 failover

can anyone help me put these two pieces together?
