How to set a number to be bigger than the other?

Hello:) I'm new to java and I need help with some basic things... given are two numbers A and B. A should be the bigger one. If this is not the case, I should switch them so A gets to be the bigger one.

My Idea would be to try solving it with "If" but I'm not really sure how to do so...
