Number-picker to get confirmation from Database

I`m trying to make a draft of an app, to see if my idea could work.

I want to use the value of the number-picker, to locate any matching rows in the database. it for a story book project, where the story will be different depending on the choose made by the reader. ( in this case its only two columns)

ie. if i tell you to go to chapter 6.12 You put NP1 = 6 and NP2 = 12 ( and response is green light=proceed or red light= Not allowed) this need to be verified with an online database.

first number-picker locates the chapter, String value is = to 6, ( and user need to get back some feedback green/red light, depending on where in the story he opens number picker from,

Second number-picker to locate sub-chapter. String value is = 12, (And as the first number picker i need to check if the combination is still a go or NO go. ( depending on where in the story he is)

(if combination exist at his point)The chapter and the sub chapter selected will be a Green light/ available for reading.
