Show only results for people that will be off in the following week

This has been a frustrating one and I have mainly been trying to get this working using VLookups and IF statements but to no avail and continuously deleting and restarting.

I want a table to show me only the results off people that are going to be on off in the following week.

I have one workbook1 that has about 50 rows with individual names and columns for every weekday off the year which look like this;

When a person says they want a day off a negative figure is placed on that day against that person in workbook1.

In workbook 2 I want to change the Monday date (in the image above 01-March across the top) to the appropriate date and get shown the results of the names of the people that are going to be off and when.

I currently have all the names in workbook2 as I thought it would be easier trying to pull data across for everyone and then just filtering.

Any help please.

Sorry for the lack of formulas but anything I have tried has failed and I have removed to try again.
