How to add values to different cells based on a different cells value

I'll try to explain what I want to do. I have a spreadsheet for my driving time I have to log before I can get my license. I will put a picture of it on here. What I want to do is specify every entry as either 'day' or 'night', and then add the time value into a different sum, depending on whether or not it is a day or night entry.

I want the entries that are 'day' to add their time to one cell, and I want the entries labeled 'night' to add their time to a different cell.
