I wanted to know if anyone knows how make an app do one thing if it is ran on windows and another thing if it is ran on a mono box?

I wanted to know if anyone knows how make an app do one thing if it is ran on windows and another thing if it is ran on a mono box?

For example when you input a path using windows, it adds '\' at the end if it is not present.

However, if it is a mono box i just want to add '/'.

Please could someone show me how i could code this?
