If function always returning true in C (New programmer)

I have to write a code that you enter 2 complex numbers and depending if u write S or P it adds or multiply them and if i entry any other letter it shows an error message, but no matter which character i enter when i run the code all if assumptions happen, i've tried changing the code a lot but nothing seems to workenter image description here
