COUNTIF Past 28 days formula I can’t figure out

Google Sheet question. I have this forumla

=COUNTIF(Sessions!I:R, "*"&A25&"*")

but I would like to add a bit that would allow me to count the past 28 days only. How would I do that? Can’t seem to figure it out.

In the Sessions sheet that I’m referencing the dates are in the A:A rows, data it’s counting in the I:R rows, and criterion is in A row of the sheet the formula is in.

Forgive me if I formatted this incorrectly, I’m new relatively new to stack exchange and Google Sheets.
