php if statement in joomla 3.9 [closed]

I have an if statement in php in Joomla 3.9 which doesn't seem to work.

if (strip_tags($this->orderDetails['paymentName'] == "Rechnung")) {
    echo "";
    echo "\n\n";
    echo "";
    echo "";    
}

what is the problem here?
